Lead pastor
Pastor Andrés Donato Godoy Tejeda
Pastor Andrés Donato Godoy Tejeda was born on February 4, 1966 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He grew up in a large family and spent much of his childhood, adolescence and youth in Comayagua.
His academic formation began at Escuela Manuel Andara and Instituto León Alvarado. He later earned a primary education teaching degree at Escuela Normal Mixta Guillermo Suazo Córdoba in La Paz and continued his ministry preparation at Seminario Teológico Hondureño.
Before joining Amor Viviente, he served as a pastor in Iglesia Pentecostal MI, caring for congregations in areas of La Paz near the border with El Salvador. That season deeply shaped his life of service, faith and dependence on God.
In 1998 he and his wife, Florid Alma Gaytán Corleto, were sent to found Amor Viviente Church in Yuscarán, where they served for 11 years. They were later moved to Amor Viviente El Paraíso, a congregation they have accompanied with pastoral commitment since November 2006.
His family also participates in the work of God, especially through musical and ministry service. His desire is to leave a legacy of love for Christ, service to the church and faithfulness to God’s call.
