A work born to restore lives.

Amor Viviente began in Honduras with a call to reach young people and families with the message of Christ. In El Paraíso, the church grew from growth groups into a congregation committed to discipleship, worship and service.

Important moments

1973

Beginning of Amor Viviente

Eduardo and Gloria King began a Christian ministry in Tegucigalpa focused especially on young people and families in need of restoration.

1977

Legal recognition

The Christian Organization Amor Viviente received legal status in Honduras, consolidating its service as a public-benefit Christian organization.

1981

Beginnings in El Paraíso

The local work began as a growth group connected to Amor Viviente Danlí, meeting in homes and community spaces.

1997

Established as a church

After years of formation and congregational maturity, Amor Viviente El Paraíso was established again as a local church.

2006

New pastoral season

Pastor Andrés Donato Godoy Tejeda was installed to serve the Amor Viviente El Paraíso congregation.

Vision

To guide every person toward integral restoration so they may become active members of the body of Christ and useful to society, forming leaders committed to worship and service to God.

Mission

To lead people toward a personal and lasting relationship with God, establishing spaces for worship, Bible study, service, counseling and assistance for those facing spiritual, family and social needs.
